What is Hala NextGen?
Hala NextGen is a network designed for Arabic-speaking professionals to connect, engage, collaborate, and guide the PR community across the MENA region. Our committee will support and guide fresh graduates to AM level within the Arabic-speaking PR community to resolve difficult situations by sharing best practices. We will address them by hosting a one-to-one, safe and confidential, session to equip the next rising star as they venture into their career.
Where does the name ‘Hala’ come from?
The name “Hala” is a slang word for ‘welcome’ in Arabic.
What is the mission of Hala NextGen?
Hala NextGen aims to support personal and professional development by connecting the Arabic-speaking PR community together.
Who founded and owns the Hala NextGen initiative?
Hala NextGen Initiative is founded and owned by the PRCA NextGen Arabia Group.
How long does the session last?
The session can last from 10 mins up to 30 mins depending on the request and timeslot availability.
Who can I apply?
It’s as simple as completing the contact us form on the main page or dropping us an email on NextGenArabia@prca.mena.global
What happens once I have applied?
NextGen Arabia’s Chair or Vice-Chair will reach out to you to schedule a one-to-one session with one of our committee members. You will be connected to the most relevant Arabic-Speaking PR professional to support your inquiry. Once the session is live, you can ask your question in a safe and confidential environment.
Will the assigned PR Professional become my mentor?
This is not a mentorship programme. However, the PRCA NextGen Arabia is committed to supporting the industry and will try to accommodate as many requests as possible.
Can I join multiple sessions?
We can’t guarantee to accept all session requests as it depends on the available timeslots. If you are unable to join the session, our experts will connect with you to schedule a session.
What will happen if I miss my timeslot?
The NextGen Arabia will reschedule the session depending on the next available timeslot.
Do I need to pay for the session?
The session is only open and is free of cost to PRCA Members.
