PRCA MENA’s People and Culture Committee

PRCA MENA People and Culture Committee

About:

The PRCA MENA People and Culture Committee is a group that addresses all talent related topics to the Public Relations industry professionals.

The PRCA MENA People and Culture Committee is composed of members from different countries in the region, including the Chair and Vice Chair.

Mission:

PRCA MENA People and Culture Committee’s mission is to identify and understand current issues related to talent in the PR industry; develop and share best practice to educate, encourage and support PRCA Members in the MENA region.

Key areas that we want to explore:

  • Talent challenges in the region – these may vary from country to country.
  • Talent attraction – how to we get the best people to the region
  • Talent retention – culture setting, employee branding, HR issues, multi-generational workforces
  • The future of talent – our next generation – encouraging the best talent into PR
  • Compensation – reward and recognition plans
  • Diversity and Inclusion
  • Training and development
  • Key skill demands in PR

We will endeavour to work closely with other groups on some of these key topics.

Who can join us and what are the tasks of the members?

The working committee is open to PRCA MENA members who have an interest in the field of talent, people, HR culture, employee branding, training and development.

The Chair and the Vice Chair are the leaders of the Committee and are therefore wholly in charge of the working themes and projects being discussed and executed within the group. They are responsible for objectives and outcomes of projects as well as final presentations that will be shared with PRCA MENA Members.

Committee members are invited to take part on a voluntary basis, and most project meetings are held by conference calls, in order to facilitate a wide participation. Full Committee meetings are organised  twice a year by phone conference; physical meetings are also held, usually at the time of the PRCA MENA Regional Awards. An ongoing and proactive contribution is expected from each member of the Committee.

If you are interested in joining the PRCA MENA People and Culture  Committee, please contact PRCA EMEA before the 22nd of January: monika.fourneaux@prca.global.
