The new digital frontiers: Identifying and leveraging emerging social platforms

Half a billion people joined social media last year (an increase of 13%), proving that our appetite for sharing, consuming and communicating virtually isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. With consumer focus shifting to new or rapidly evolving channels which put audio and visual content at their hearts, and e-commerce increasingly at the fore, how can healthcare companies keep up with these channels? Critically, where are the smart areas for us to play? We’ll examine trends from the consumer world and discuss how healthcare has an opportunity to leverage new platforms to reach our audiences with ever-increasing targeting and relevance.

Wednesday 22nd September, 3:30-5:00 (GST)

Reimagining health policy in a post-COVID-19 world

The COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced the value of collaboration between governments, healthcare providers and the pharma industry to support healthcare systems. Beyond addressing the immediate challenges of the pandemic, what are the priorities for Governments in addressing the impact of the pandemic and what are the opportunities for healthcare companies to help get healthcare systems back on track?

Join our panel of experts to hear how Covid-19 has affected policymaking and what the opportunities and challenges are for companies to make an impact in the post-Covid world.
Thursday 23rd September, 3:30-5:00 (GST)

Post-pandemic opportunities in healthcare communications in 2021 and beyond

COVID-19 has put change in healthcare communications into high-gear. The renewed focus on vaccines, the altered perception of the pharmaceutical industry and forced need for greater uptake of health-tech tools has helped alter the landscape facing those in healthcare communications. But will this change continue, or will we will slowly revert to old methods, relationships and partners? We’ve assembled a fantastic panel of speakers to discuss the potential new world of healthcare communications, how we can build upon the openings and opportunities created by the pandemic we never could have imagined and explore what will this may mean for the future of our work.

Zoom details to be provided 48 hours prior to the conference.
