Join us for a fireside chat with Jane Wakefield, freelance journalist, ex-BBC tech journo, podcast host, consultant, and media trainer, where she’ll explore the biggest tech trends today from ChatGPT and Metaverse to sustainability. Together with the PRCA AR and PR group representatives, she’ll talk about how comms practitioners can respond – and share tips and tricks for getting attention in a busy marketplace.
Agenda:
- Introduction: Jane will kick off the session by talking around the today’s tech trends which are infiltrating all communications agenda. She’ll shed light on what journalists are looking for from PR agencies and in-house teams. She will also discuss what kind of content and perspective journalists seek from analysts.
- Panel Discussion – Insights and observations: A co-chair of the Analyst Relations group will explore the implications of Jane’s insights for Analyst Relations (AR) practitioners and how to cultivate and adapt to journalists’ and analysts’ evolving research.
- Perfecting Your Pitch: A co-chair of the tech PR group will steer the conversation towards crafting the perfect pitch and share top tips on actionable techniques to create compelling, newsworthy pitches that resonate with your audience.
- Q&A Session: The panellists will answer questions from the audience.
- Conclusion: Jane will conclude the discussion by summarizing the key points of the conversation and giving her outlook on the emerging trends which PR and AR teams should be looking out for.
