About the job

As an SEO Account Manager with Cosmopole you will be responsible for working with their clients to deliver best in class SEO campaigns. The role encompasses work across all key areas including strategy, technical, content, auditing and implementation.

You will be the face of their SEO offering for all key clients in your remit. You will work to develop a strong understanding of the business needs and objectives of your clients and, working with the wider team, you will help to translate these into great campaigns – with strong targeting and flawless deliverables.

As many of their clients work with them across both SEO and paid search/digital advertising, experience in both is a plus, although not essential.

ABOUT YOU

You will have graduated in a technical or marketing related field or have been working in a related role. Ideally, you will have agency experience. You will be an extremely organised person who enjoys structure and process and have a strong head for data and analysis.

You will have a real ‘can-do’ spirit, always ready to take on a new challenge and learn new things. Being adaptable and open to working with a range of businesses, personalities and cultures is a must.

OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting a range of partners with their SEO – ensuring all activity is underpinned by the client’s business objectives, audience profile and best practices.
  • Devising innovative campaigns to cater to a range of objectives.
  • Being constantly ahead of the latest SEO practices and developments.
  • Devising SEO strategies and tactics to maximise performance whilst being in line with best practices.
  • Setup of campaigns, accounts, and reporting.
  • Working closely with the wider team to implement and project manage copywriting, PR (for link building) and design requirements.
  • Being the lead contact for day-to-day discussions with clients – acting in a consultative manner to advise on strategy and execution.
  • Owning the plan and roadmap for your clients and working with the team to ensure everyone has clarity on the strategy, plan and deliverables, and that deadlines are met.
  • Owning all deliverables for your clients – ensuring that there is strong quality control and quality across all work.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Strong communication skills – able to understand and adapt your communications across our clients and team members in a very international environment
  • Technical know-how – expert knowledge of platforms such as Search Console, SEMRush, AHrefs, Google analytics etc
  • A strong head for details – able to proofread and quality control very effectively.
  • A positive outlook with a real hunger for constantly learning
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
