Media Relations Manager

Role:

BPG Arabia is embarking on an exciting growth phase in our business and seeking a media relations expert to join the team.Our ambition is to be the benchmark for quality in communications across the Middle East. We are looking for a driven, collaborative and qualified Media Relations Manager to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and delivering our clients’ communications strategies, ensuring their stories reach the right audiences at the right time.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, lead and execute comprehensive media and influencer campaigns, encompassing content planning, audience targeting, media outreach, and performance goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with media and influencers and ensure we deliver on KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Account Management, Creative, Media and PR to align media efforts with the clients’ overall business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging media and social media platforms, tools, and trends to explore innovative ways of reaching and engaging the target audience
  • Ensure deadlines are communicated and met, demonstrating initiative
  • Arrange meetings and briefings with media and issue accurate minutes as promptly as possible
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is stored and well organised
  • Keep account team and client up to date with competitive news and market trends in KSA
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions on your clients and make key presentations
  • Produce post-campaign reports in a timely manner, with attention to detail and with actionable recommendations & insights.

 

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant PR experience across B2C and B2B brands, including banking, technology, and real estate.
  • Proven experience in influencer and media relations across the GCC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong organizational, account management, and presentation development skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Natural curiosity for clients’ industries, staying up to date on brands, products, services, market developments, key issues, competition, and industry trends.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment, motivated team player, and committed to quality, professionalism
  • Consultative mindset focused on adding value and solving client problems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and media.
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
