Communications Manager – UAE
Action Global Communications, an independent communications agency spanning three
continents, is looking for a result-driven, committed, and enthusiastic Communications
Manager, to be seconded at our client’s office, based in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of high-level corporate
communication campaigns and should have a strong background in communication campaigns
Role Description
• Serving as Action’s representative in client’s office daily, following client’s working
hours.
• Working occasionally from Action’s Dubai office, as required and agreed.
• Coordinating day-to-day requirements between client and agency.
• Managing stakeholders and third- party partners and suppliers.
• Supporting external and internal communications – government level across
departments.
• Leading and coordinating on external requirements (event participation, media
opportunities, etc.).
• Crafting presentations for senior leadership to deliver.
• Leading on planning and activating client campaigns and ongoing scope of work.
• Developing and leading PR strategies from formulation through to execution, aligning
with the client’s key business objectives, and integrating (where required) with social
media and digital activities.
• Using strong command of written Arabic and English, lead on researching, and drafting
and editing high-quality, ‘journalist standard’ editorial content (i.e. press releases and
features) along with any other written copy required by the client such as Q&As, talking
points etc.
• Ensure all communication is engaging, relevant, consistent, credible, timely and in the
appropriate writing style.
• Proofread final materials – including those of your colleagues – for sufficient
newsworthiness, as well as the basics of correct spelling, grammar and sentence
structure and alignment with overarching client key messaging and positioning.
• Working knowledge and information gathering of the marketplace to help determine
the best opportunities for clients.
• Stay abreast of developments in the client’s industry and update teams accordingly
Requirements:
• BA/MA degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
• Work experience in communications required (minimum 3-4 years).
• Proven track record of executing successful communications campaigns.
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets, will
be considered an advantage.
• Excellent Arabic and English writing proficiency; journalism experience preferable.
• A “can-do “attitude. Commitment to meeting deadlines and going the extra mile.
• Agile, flexible, and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in education and with government entities will be advantageous

Senior Communications Executive-UAE
Action Global Communications, an independent communications agency spanning three
continents, is looking for a result-driven, committed, and enthusiastic Senior Communications
Executive, for our office in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of high-level corporate
communication campaigns and should have a strong background in communication campaigns.
Role Description
• Support with co-ordination on all aspects of client communications, including but not limited to,
administration, reporting, editorial, brainstorming to ensure work is accurate, on schedule,
consistent and in adherence with client guidelines.
• Help to draft PR plans, proposals, strategies and ideas for existing and potential clients.
• Lead on researching, pitching, distributing and follow-up for media content such as press
releases and features.
• Using good command of written English (and / or Arabic) and in consultation with client lead,
proactively develop first draft of client content, including press releases and media alerts, and
seek feedback from the team.
• Draft media pitches (English and /or Arabic), distribute content and lead on follow-ups in GCC
media, managing ad hoc media requests and supplying background information and images to
media upon request.
• Proactive media and social media influencer outreach and meeting with key (English and Arabic
speaking journalists / influencers) to update team on editorial / online opportunities where
multiple clients can be featured.
• Ensure all content (images, backgrounders, factsheets, editorial and market intel) and media
lists are updated and saved on Action UAE server
• Lead in collating, analysing and evaluating media coverage with appropriate metrics including
competitor news.
• Co-ordinate with suppliers for client events.
• Source and produce client quotations for photography, print, promotional items, ad space and
other client purchase requirements.
• Attend client and media / influencer events, coordinating on-site requirements, client meetings,
prepare contact reports, briefing notes.
• Monitor and absorb daily news cycles and agendas, competitor news, statistics and feedback to
teams and clients (where applicable)
• Proactively gain an understanding and working knowledge of all core communications
disciplines across Action UAE, including social / digital media, design and production with a focus
on core PR, to provide a quality assurance check of project deliverables, assisting with the
implementation of best practices and solutions across function.
• Lead on researching material for client presentations and new business proposals and fully
participate in brainstorming sessions.
Requirements:
• BA/MA degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience as a communications executive in UAE.
• Proven track record of executing successful communications campaigns.
• Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets, will
be considered an advantage.
• Excellent English writing proficiency: journalism experience preferable.

Role Description
• Lead on planning and activating client campaigns and ongoing scope of work.
• Develop and lead PR strategies from formulation through to execution, aligning with the client’s

• Proactively identify opportunities and suggest creative campaigns that will position the client
positively in the media and with consumers.

• Oversee the delivery of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to meet client deadlines,

that are important to clients.
• Ensure team media lists and client materials are kept up to date and saved on the Action UAE
server.
• Assist in managing crisis communications.
• Look for opportunities to grow the client’s scope of work and increase annual fees and revenue.
• Working knowledge and information gathering of the marketplace to help determine the best
opportunities for clients.
• Develop a calendar of events or key occasions in the Dubai calendar, around which to proactively
recommend commercial activities.
• Keep track of impending deadlines and ensure all work is completed on time.
• Liaise with the client and act as key point of contact in support of senior team. Lead client
meetings.
• Supervise junior staff and their activity and workload on corresponding clients.
• Support in internal brainstorming sessions and create workable programmes including proposal
writing for new business and existing clients.
• Proactively gain an understanding and working knowledge of all core communications
disciplines across Action UAE, including social / digital media, design and production, with a
focus on core PR, to provide a quality assurance check of project deliverables, assisting with the
implementation of best practices and solutions across function.
• Stay abreast of communications industry trends and actively pursue new business leads and
prospects.
• Support senior team and liaise on basic quotations and invoicing between finance teams and
clients.
