Trainer: Judi Goodwin

Judi Goodwin specialises in helping people to access their creativity and has taught thousands of people to write more fluently and with more impact. She combines a wealth of experience in journalism with a whole-person approach to help participants overcome their personal barriers.

She began her writing career in advertising and PR but initially battled with writer’s block when she made the transition to journalism more than 30 years ago. Always fascinated by how the mind works, she researched the psychology of writing to overcome her own difficulties.  Now she passes on the techniques in her inspirational workshops.

Previous students include  journalist members of the NUJ, financial wizards at The Bank of England, life-term prisoners at HM Prison Styal and people with mental health challenges in a drop in centre in Manchester. Her workshops build confidence and  self-discovery – and she believes people learn best when they’re having fun!
