Event overview –

The COVID-19 pandemic is placing unprecedented demands on us, as business leaders. The extent of the problem is not yet understood. The long-term impact is unknown and so business leaders are faced with having to make tough decisions. Often however, the harder task is the communication of the decision.

Difficult conversations; how to prepare, plan the route and move forward together after communicating negative news.

What attendees will learn –

This training will cover some of the HR aspects required as preparation for meetings such as salary reduction and redundancy. The trainer will explain the potential reactions and how to reduce the tension during the conversation and will share a tried and tested practical method of the process of how to have the meeting. Finally, because that is just the start of the putting the decision into action, how to maintain the relationship thereafter, to ease the pain for all parties.
