Summary:
The UAE is home to over 200 nationalities. Working and living in such a culturally diverse environment is incredibly enriching, but has its challenges in terms of communications and understanding. As PR professionals in the UAE, we cannot rely on the same key messages to be understood across the community. The way we communicate – what we say, how we say it, and where/when we say it needs to change according to the audience – and our actions and words need to be sensitive to many different backgrounds and traditions. This half day PRCA session will help you to develop culturally sensitive brands and reduce reputational threats.

Attendees will:
• Gain an understanding of what cultural awareness means
• Learn how to successfully navigate cross-cultural differences to communicate successfully
• Increase their Cultural Intelligence (CQ)
• Identify and review common cultural differences in the UAE

Who should attend
This course is aimed at PR practitioners of any level who are new to the UAE and want to quickly get up to speed with the differences between working here and their home country to ensure they continue to be effective.
